The Importance Of Exercise

All of us have to undergo the process of birth, old age, illness and death. The thing is how to live longer and have healthier life? With the progression of age, we all realize that, diet, emotion, daily lifestyle and exercise are all interrelated to our health.
In my conversation with the patients, I notice that many of them never take the trouble of going for exercise.
Some even confess that daily works already make them feel very tired and they no longer have anymore stamina to go for regular exercise! This is indeed something that I am worrying about!
Actually, human body’s structures and functions are not meant to be static but are active in nature.
Our bones, muscles, heart, blood capillaries all need to be stimulated to be stimulated in order to maintain their proper functions. The muscles of our hands and legs will be used only when we are going to walk or carry objects.
In fact, the limbs also have other function , I.e., enhance the intake of oxygen.
When our limbs undergo exercise, the rate of metabolism will be increased. With this in mind, the quantity of oxygen utilized also increases. Consequently, blood vessels in the four limbs will be dilated and there will also increase the blood flow quantity. In addition to that, the intake of oxygen by the body also increases. Fate and sugar burning require the oxygen supply which will then convent into the calories require by our body.
The increase in calorie will promote the function of the heart and lungs as well as detoxification process of the liver and we will then become very healthy.
If the accumulation of fats and other lodged wastes of metabolism in our body couple with insufficient supply of oxygen into our body, the metabolism of sugar will be affected during oxidization process.
The sugar will not turn into carbon dioxide or water but will accumulate in the body and makes us feel tired. Hence, we say that the healthy of the limbs are very important.
Unfortunately, exercise does not give any assurance of safety; for those who do not exercise for quite some time, they will suffer from pain in muscles, joint damage, high blood pressure or faster heart palpitation when they resume exercise again.
In another word, we must exercise according to our own physical strength. It is not advisable to set higher goal for exercise. For people who are very fat, their lungs and heart will have to sustain higher pressure than ordinary person.
So they must be diagnosed by the doctor before then can find suitable exercise for themselves.
What are the basic benefits of the exercise?
1.Prevent various infectious diseases
2.Increases vitality
3.For weight loss
4.Reduces mental pressure
5.Retards ageing process
What about the benefits of exercise toward ageing process?
1 Cardiovascular system : As we progress from age 25to65, the rate of oxygen absorption will be reduced by 30%.At the same time, the elasticity of the blood vessels also reduces. The blood vessels will also became narrower and there will be higher obstruction of blood flow.
Usually after the age of 40, for every increment of 10 years, the rate of blood vessels also reduces. The blood vessels will also become narrower and there will higher obstruction of blood flow .
Usually after the age of 40, for every increment of 10 years, the rate of blood vessels shrinkage will be increased by 10 mm Hg. Consistent exercise will reduce the blood fate level and also various cardiovascular diseases. At the same time, it also helps to promote the function of cardiac muscles, strengthens cardiovascular system’s adaptability with extra pressure.
2.Exercies system: Sat is factory amount of exercise can increase the elasticity and muscle distending. At the same time, it also helps to strengthen our bones endurance and enhance the blood flow inside the bone.
Our bone will have enough nutrition with higher bone density. Even if we each the age of 80s,with proper exercise that we have, the mineral contents are still high. The muscle will undergo change as we progress in age. For man who is in his 30s, his muscle almost constitute 40 to 45%of his total weight , but for old man , it is only about 25%. Inother word, the man man’s muscle have shrunk and he has lesser strength as compare to last time. With this problem that he has, he will become tired very fast . In fact , exercise ill ensure that the muscle will be maintained at certain level of flexibility.
3.Respiratory system : When old man’s respiratory muscle are shrinking, the lung tissues elasticity will also reduce. With ageing process, he will be more sensitive to wards lack of oxygen. In area where it is more than 2100 meter high, he will react to oxygen deficiency. Consistent exercise will assist in maintaining the proper elasticity of the lung tissues so that we can breathe better.

4.Nervous system: Nervous cell will wither or die following ageing process. Most of the elderly citizens between the age of 70and90 will have their nerve cells reduce by 20to45%. Meanwhile, the weight of the brain also reduce by 6.6 to 11%.The brain’s cortical substance size will reduce by 10%,while the blood flow rate is reduce by17%.Hence, the nervous regulatory ability is weaker and become more retarded in stimulating effects with poorer memory and analytical power. He will also feel more tired then usual.
Appropriate amount of exercise can increases the strength of cortical substances’ nervous activities as well as increase its flexibility.
My dear friends, after reading this article, do you have clearer understanding of the importance of exercise?
One of the greatest German doctor of the 19th century once said: “None of the lazy persons in this world could live long. All those who could live long are those who aggressively participate in activities”.
To become healthier and enjoy better life, you must cultivate the habit of doing more exercise everyday. It is you that can determine better health for yourself!
